What is #DoubleDawgDay and why is it so important?

#DoubleDawgDay is Gardner-Webb University’s annual day of giving, a push to raise support for student scholarships and university needs. This year #DoubleDawgDay is Thursday, April 07, 2022.

Donations on #DoubleDawgDay is HUGE because it allows for the university to receive support from our community. This support is vital to multiple areas across campus - athletics, academics, student scholarships, university priority and so much more. 

Why should I ask someone to give to #DoubleDawgDay?

Gifts made during Double Dawg Day will support multiple areas across campus. There are multiple opportunities where your gift could be matched, dollar for dollar, by generous friends of the University. When you get involved on #DoubleDawgDay, you inspire others to get involved on #DoubleDawgDay.

Sign up to be a Social Media Ambassador! Social Media Ambassadors are active on social media, posting throughout the day using #DoubleDawgDay, and using their link so others can donate and support. We need you to be a social media ambassador to help us spread the word and tell others of the impact Gardner-Webb University has made on you.

How do I give to my specific fund?

From the drop down menu for Department select the area that you wish to give to and select the appropriate fund from the Fund list. Then enter gift amount, contact and affiliation information. Select your donor wall preference and click the GIVE NOW button to proceed to the secure payment page. 

How do I give to my athletic program of choice?

From the drop down menu for Department select the athletic program. Next, choose the fund from the Fund Designation drop down menu. Then enter gift amount, contact and affiliation information. Select your donor wall preference and click the GIVE NOW button to proceed to the secure payment page.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment including, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
